Sustainability solutions

Well known member of my local community and Justice of the Peace serving the people of Western Australia. Active member of my local ratepayers association as well as serving on various government reference groups and task forces I am passionate about the natural environment. I believe in a low carbon economy and making a real difference to this planet's future by personally doing my bit. I also have a keen interest in architecture and the built environment.

A PADI Scuba Instructor I have been diving since the early nineties. I love the underwater world and have a particular fascination for ship wrecks having dived the Yongala off Townsville, Queensland and Simpson Harbor, Rabaul, Papua New Guinea. I have been a petrol head most of my life building high powered motor cars, still own a large cruiser motorcycle and am a senior member of the Ulyses Motorcycle Club. Being an electronics engineer I dabble in communications, computers and software. I also enjoy designing web pages for none profit organisations. I grow Mr. Lincoln roses and enjoy my garden. I love my food and believe it is my responsibility to stay fit and healthy. To this end I enjoy walking, running, swimming, aerobics, mountain biking and scuba. But I am always looking for new ways to be physically active.

Previous State Manager of a federal government department I hold qualifications in engineering, law and management. Always an environmental activist the last few years I have been employed assisting an Australian company achieve AS/NZS14001 certification for a large manufacturing plant. I have also worked overseas as a consultant. I am now well placed to provide advice on moving your company into a greener future.
